Let’s get to (remote) work

The Adecco Group Military Alliance Program has supported the U.S. military community through employment and education opportunities for over 24 years. The company has employed more than 100,000 military spouses and veterans to date. General Assembly (GA) and The Adecco Group have joined forces to invest in your career confidence for the third consecutive year. The Service Scholarship, sponsored by The Adecco Group U.S. Foundation, provides a path toward a career in tech that's flexible enough to accommodate relocation through remote work, while also helping program participants build a keen digital skill set. That means more opportunities for you and more support for your loved ones.

How does it work?

The Adecco Group U.S. Foundation Service Sponsorship provides a path toward a career in tech by offering fully-covered part-time sponsorships to all veterans and military spouses.

This year, we are offering a private TAG Military Alliance Data Analytics Course, expanded from our previous cohort to include a new AI-Enabled curriculum.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Use Excel, SQL, and Tableau to collect, clean, and analyze large data sets.

  • Present data-driven insights to key stakeholders using data visualization and dashboards.

  • Tell compelling stories with your data.

  • Utilize AI tools to improve your analytical efficiency, accuracy, and ability through ethical data and responsible practices.

Although this program does not mandate formal prerequisites, students should demonstrate a fundamental interest in data and a clear vision of how it will affect their career trajectory. All students will complete limited pre-work to establish a common baseline pre-course. If you already work with basic Excel functions or have dabbled in SQL, our curriculum will enable you to perform more powerful analyses.

This cohort will focus on building community among veterans and military spouses, looking to expand their career prospects. The course will integrate career coaching, including specialized workshops and 1:1 sessions that focus on the unique challenges for job seekers within our community.
