Are you looking to invest in yourself and your career? GA could be the right pathway to help you secure a job, a promotion, or a new career.

Whether you're a military spouse who's been out of the workforce for some time or a veteran woman transitioning to a new career, we want to help you build career confidence. Life paths that require frequent relocation can make it hard to sustain a long-term career — a challenge that often leads to underemployment, especially for military spouses. The U.S. Department of Defense showed that pre-pandemic military spouses faced a 24% unemployment rate. Between the rigid demands of military service and lack of childcare, many spouses have had to forgo a professional career. We're here to help!

How does it work?

The Adecco Group U.S. Foundation Service Sponsorship provides a path toward a career in tech by offering 15 fully-covered part-time sponsorships to woman-identifying veterans and military spouses. Eligible programs include any part-time course offered though General Assembly, one of the world’s largest technology skills training providers. Most courses encompass 40 to 60 hours instruction, spread across 10 weeks, and all are conducted in a live-instruction, remote format. See the full GA Short Course roster for course length and scheduling details.

As a special new addition this year, all learners will have the opportunity to engage in 1:1 sessions with GA’s specialized Career Coaches to help map their career journey.
