Apply for a scholarship towards the remote Software Engineering Immersive program, launching part-time online on 6 November 2023*. An individual will receive a full scholarship for this program and once completed, an internship opportunity at Thoughtworks.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for scholarship, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Self-identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
- Reside in Australia.

**Scholarship award decisions will be made by General Assembly and Indigitek after an interview process.

It’s estimated that STEM professions will make up 75% of the Australian workforce by 2025.
However, only 43% of Aboriginal children graduate High School with one STEM subject.
