The Opportunity

GA’s virtual full-time programs are partially subsidized — saving you over $4,000 on tuition — by the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development. This is not a loan or income share agreement, so eligible participants are not expected to repay the subsidy amount.

In addition to this subsidy, you may be eligible for one of General Assembly’s many financing options.

Who qualifies? You’re eligible if you live and reside in Connecticut and answer yes to one of the following questions:

  • Do you identify as a Person of Color, a woman, disability impacted, or a member of the LGBTQQIA+ community?
  • Are you unemployed or underemployed
  • Has the pandemic had a financial impact on you or your family?

The Experience

You’ll join an instructor-led cohort designed to teach you and your classmates in-demand skills to set you apart in the job market. In addition to training, you’ll also get career coaching and support as you build a new resume, work on a portfolio, and begin applying for your first tech role.
